This was a very interesting point of view on how WDRB represents the news in general. It is agreed from both of our points of view that WDRB somewhat "wastes their time" on certain news stories. But in a way I would have to disagree with this post. I understand that you believe teens getting into drugs doesn't seem newsworthy, but in reality it is. If a teenager moves away from education and into drugs, alcohol, etc. that amounts to pulling away workers from our future work force. What would our world be like if we didn't have any really hard workers and they all turned out to be on drugs? I'll just answer that for you, our economy and businesses wouldn't be able to get by. The U.S. is already struggling to support people with jobs but children getting on drugs makes it even worse. Overall, I would have to disagree with the fact that you think the story is not newsworthy. In spite of my disagreement, I do believe that there were some very good points in this critique.
